Attention regularized faculty members: Watch your Cap email next week for details on how to allocate benefits from your spending account for the term August 1, 2017, to July 31, 2018. Allocation will be conducted online; the Cap email will provide login instructions and other details. June 7-23, 2017, is the allocation period. Allotments cannot be changed after June 23. If you miss this opportunity, your spending account allocations will default to professional development. Contact Brenda Stenson, Cap's benefits specialist, if you have questions.
The CFA and Cap's HR department will host a joint training session to highlight the main responsibilities of coordinators. Because chairs, convenors, and stewards often work closely with coordinators, they, too, are invited. Resource materials will be provided, and attendees will have lots of opportunities to ask questions. The workshop is in Birch 126, June 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. To ensure a spot, RSVP by June 5, 2017: Sarah Leger, HR assistant, email@example.com.
May 9, 2017, is election day in B.C. Remember to vote.
