The Welcoming Ceremony.
Fair Employment Week is October 7 to 11, 2019. CAUT members across Canada are hosting events on campus to support fair treatment of all academic staff.
I express my support to those who stand for the fair treatment of all academic staff regardless of employment status. All professors should receive fair compensation for teaching, research and service.
Each year, thousands of academics are hired on precarious contracts with poor working conditions. We can do better.
Make it fair.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the best way to wrap the 2018-19 academic year, and contribute toward goals and faculty direction for 2019-2020! Important motions on equity, support for indigenization activities, and a "decorated" faculty keynote speaker are just part of the agenda that concludes with a relaxing faculty lunch with colleagues! The AGM RSVP notification is out there, email your RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org now if you haven't already done so!
